“Bike distribution”

22 January 2007 might be announced as another Christmas day. Even the fact that it was a holiday could not stop 100 students to walk their way up to CITE. The whole day started at 8 am with a seminar ... nothing new so far but ... this Seminar was a special one " A safety bike riding seminar". After attending ... the students got nervous and exited ... because now that would happen, what they waited for the whole day ... the distribution of the bikes.
Every potencial beneficiary had to apply for a bikel mention his reasons why he would be a owner of the bike. After the evaluation done by the "bike4u" team, the bikes were distributed to the students. The basket ball hall soon changed into a mixture of bike shop, cycling circuit and bike workshp area. While most of the bikes only needed some easy maintenance , others needed quite some professional help. But all those problems could be solved. Thank to all the bike4U founding membersand not to forget Ben THE MECHANIC who were also present on this day. After several pictures and a lot of smiles and happy faces ... the last bike left the basketball hall at 5pm in running condition.
