    Bike4U Nightride 10 Aug 2007
  

Bike4U is organizing a night ride Friday, Aug 10 2007. We will start at North General Hospital at 5pm, cycle up to Guba, Ayala Heights and going down via Tops to Lahug, where we will end our ride in the Outpost Restobar. No fees, no registration - Tshirts will be available for a small amount, Donations are welcome. (PLEASE bring headlamps and/or lights)

    Bike4U Funride 2007  
   Sunday, February 11, the Bike4U foundation organized a fun ride with the intention of raising funds and creating awareness of the foundation. As early as 6 am, Bike4U Founder and President Jens Funk, Board of directors Boying Rodriguez, Roy Zapata, Wally Ong and Jacs Jacalan were already out at the Asiatown I.T. Park, busy with the registration of the riders, announcing the ride route and enumerating the rules of the road in the middle of a festive group of young people who were ready to roll out.  
     
 
Latest Additions
 New Containers in 2007
We are happy to announce, that we are expecting 2 more containers filled up with used bikes by end of this year. Like last year, 1 container will come from Germany and thanks to Patrice (a french business men) we expect another container from France. More infos soon.

 Distribution
22 January 2007 might be announced as another Christmas day. Even the fact that it was a holiday could not stop 100 students to walk their way up to CITE. The whole day started at 8 am with a seminar ... nothing new so far but ... this Seminar was a special one " A safety bike riding seminar". After attending ... the students got nervous and exited ... because now that would happen, wht they waited for the whole day ... the distribution of the bikes.

We've got a text message from the shipping agent that our container from germany arrive january 25 ahead of schedule. Such a bad timing that aside from the holidays everybody is out doing their own biking thing. Jan 3 we started processing the papers to expedite the release of the container, it is not an easy task to apply an import entry in the customs in the philippines, we're lucky since one of the Bike4U founding member has a friend to help
 
Donations
 July 2007
 

Together with simultaneous concerts in 7 major cities of the world and 10,000 local initiatives worldwide, Cebu responded, last July 7, Saturday, to the call for ordinary people to contribute solutions to the global climate crisis.

Immediately, an amount of some 18,000 pesos was raised for the Bike4U foundation.
